Now I am sure that�most of you have dealt with this situation�at time or another: Youapos;re the employee that comes to work on time everyday and you work hard while at work, yet for some reason you never seem to make it ahead. You volunteer to stay late when work is still left to be done, and you go above and beyond without being asked. You do everything that a good employee should do, so why is it that the lazy ones always seem to get promoted or recognized for your efforts? This is caused by workplace politics, and unfortunately, it is everywhere. Some companies are better at hiding it than others, but ultimately, it is an inevitable fact of life. I personally despise it, even if it was�to work in my favor (which to this day has never happened). I have always been raised to be a work hard, and learned early that you canapos;t expect anything in life to merely be handed to you. I found�this to be very sound advice.�Why is it, then, that others feel that they can do no work, but still be rewarded? Another thing that is extremely bothersome to me is how some of these same lazy�people previously mentioned�are the�main ones causing issues at the job. What makes it worse is that these people�are never punished�or reprimanded for their wrong-doings. If that isnapos;t a bunch of crap then I donapos;t know what is. My�question is:�Will it ever change?�
